Abstract
This study aims to investigate the effect of the praise therapy program on the happiness of the 94 general public. In terms of sex, the happiness after the praise therapy was much more improved in the male (23.75%) than in the female (21.9%), and the average of the male and female was 35.6%; In terms of ages, the improvement rate was in the order of 30s (29.27%) > 20s > 40s > 10s > 60s > 50s (15.5%), which showed that the younger the group was, the higher the improvement rate was, and the total average improving rate was 33%. The unmarried (25.32%) was much more improved than the married (19.5%), and the comprehensive average improving rate was 22.5%. The high school graduate (23.25%) was improved than the college graduate or higher (22%), and the total average improving value was increased by 22.5% after treatment. All of the above items were statistically significant between and within the pretreatment group and post-treatment group, and there was no difference depending on sex, age, and education level. Because the praise therapy program carried out in this study has significantly improved the happiness, it is concluded that this program can be an excellent natural healing therapy for improving the happiness of the general public.
